I continue to list things but this time on a different day than the last time I did so

-The Tetro/Shuten Order fusion fic was supposed to be short and sweet. Why am I at 7k for it already. Every time I write words for it I am frustrated because I know I will have to write even more words for it later. I have passed the 20k mark for Tetro fic and still have nothing complete to post. I am poking my WIPs with a stick.

-Finished replaying Chapter 4 of Rain Code. Kanai Ward is genuinely one of my favorite video game locations of all time; it's just genuinely pleasant to spend time in, so vibrant and alive. I can never resist playing every sidequest. Vivia is a delight and if we ever do get a sequel, I hope he'd return. I am very much looking forward to playing Chapter 5 again.

-Annual Spike Chunsoft survey went up today! Given that we're getting the new 2x2 scenario next year, filling my Danganronpa quota, I voted for Rain Code as my top choice for the game/franchise I'd like to see a sequel to. The Spike Chunsoft catalog is stacked, but Rain Code stands out for not getting the follow-up love it deserves.

-Which all reminds me that I need to pick up the third Somnium Files at some point. It was buried under the weight of the Hundred Line-Shuten Order double whammy for me, but I have heard good things. The first game is one of my all-time favorites. I try not to think about Nirvana Initiative.

-Living in fear of the Tetro Blue trial dropping tomorrow. I have notifications on and will be listening to it at work.

I'd love to see another Master Detective Archives game! I loved every moment of Rain Code. Kanai Ward really is such a great setting - it's so pretty and so interesting - and the dynamic between Yuma and Shinigami is delightful.

It's just such a fun game! Playing Chapter 5 for the first time was one of my all-time favorite video game experiences, just this overwhelming, intense emotional wave throughout. And the Yuma+Shingami dynamic is really charming-- she is a silly little creature, and it's very fun.
