harmfulmythsI cannot believe my last post here was before I got into Nitro+ Chiral games. This is truly wild to me, especially because I can no longer picture a time before N+C games. This stupid publisher has a grip on my soul, on a level few other media things have had before. It is not just the deep warmth and joy of fannish interest; this is not just infatuation, but love. There is a difference between those, not just with people, but with how I feel about my silly media joys too.
It may be too early to say, but I really believe it. Friendship is Magic was love; Dangan Ronpa was love; N+C is love. I haven't felt like this about something fully new to me in almost a decade, and that itself is worthy of celebration. I have missed joy.
2024 has been undeniably hard for me, but I have my friends. And I have my silly little interests: 5 video games that are unlocking my soul and the Littlest Pet Shop toyline revival. For now, these are enough to keep going.
